What technical writers know. Or: What's the difference between taxonomy and ontology?
Every morning, when my coworker does his tie, he doesn't have to recall how to do it. He does it automatically without much thinking about it. When he later mounts his bycicle, he does not have to recall how to ride the bike.
He automatically keeps the balance and turns into the curve. That is what we call implicit knowledge. We acquire it by repeating the same thing over and over again. Implicit knowledge is not taught, not written down, and not verbalized. That's why it is difficult to share it.
