In March 2022 Ulrike Parson and Dr. Achim Steinacker presented their ideas on the role of metadata at the virtual Empolis Executive Forum. The recording of their session "First comes Metadata, then comes Content. How to control your CCMS with Metadata" is now available on YouTube.

In it they discuss nothing less than a paradigm shift in technical communication: content management systems are often no longer the inevitable starting point for working on the content. It is metadata.
