Summary: Metadata is becoming increasingly important and has led to a paradigm shift in technical communication. The CCMS is no longer at the starting point for content creation. Ulrike Parson and Dr. Achim Steinacker present an approach for the external management of metadata in a digital information twin that controls module assembly and generation in the CCMS.
