In their talk at the tekom spring conference 2022 in Potsdam, Mark Schubert and Ulrike Parson discussed "iiRDS in the semantic network. Together in Europe".

iiRDS is not the only standard for intelligent information. The OntoCommons initiative combines metadata standards under one European umbrella. Mark and Ulrike examine the integration of iiRDS and other metadata models under a top-level ontology and new developments for iiRDS such as the addition of SKOS.
