TISAX® certificate for comprehensive information security

As a service provider, we understand that data is our customers' most valuable asset and that the trust of our customers and partners is essential for a successful business relationship. Therefore, we do everything in our power to handle data with the utmost care and security.

TISAX® stands for "Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange" and is a standard for an information security management system in the automotive industry. TISAX® is a registered trademark of the ENX association, a consortium of European automotive manufacturers, suppliers, and associations responsible for establishing and maintaining the industry standard for TISAX® certification.

In 2017, the German Association of the Automotive Industry, or VDA (German: Verband der Automobilindustrie e.V.) initiated TISAX® to create a uniform standard that guides all companies in the industry. This standard is defined by a comprehensive list of questions and serves as a basis for assessing and certifying information security management systems (ISMS). 

Meaning of the TISAX® label

A valid TISAX® label is a prerequisite for working with a supplier of several automotive manufacturers. The certificate, which must be renewed every three years, is recognized worldwide as proof of comprehensive information security management in companies. The TISAX® audit is a demanding multi-stage process. The results are published on the ENX portal, to which only authorized companies have access. This ensures the confidentiality of the assessments.

TISAX® and ISO 27001

TISAX® is an extension of the ISO 27001 standard that has been specifically adapted for the automotive industry. TISAX® and ISO 27001 have many similarities. TISAX® adds modules for data protection and risk management. While ISO 27001 can be limited to certain areas of a company, TISAX® covers the entire company to be audited.

in 2024, parson AG intends to renew its certification according to ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 in addition to the existing TISAX® label.
